Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled System Administrator to join a dynamic team. This role requires expertise in managing and administering Windows and Linux servers while also having hands-on experience with NetApp and Hitachi storage technologies. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both server administration and the configuration and management of storage systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, administer, and manage both Windows and Linux servers, ensuring smooth operation, server security, and access control.
- Administer and manage NetApp s Active IQ Unified Manager to monitor and optimize NetApp storage environments.
- Administer and manage Hitachi s Remote Ops Product for monitoring and managing storage systems.
- Understand the functionality and application of NetApp s NAS storage and Hitachi s Object storage, including configuration and troubleshooting.
- Provide operational support and ensure the stability of NAS and Object storage systems.
- Perform server security management, ensuring adherence to best practices in server security, organizational units (OU) structures, and access control policies.
- Troubleshoot, resolve issues, and optimize performance for both Windows and Linux servers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and performance of server and storage environments.
Required Qualifications:
- Proficient in administering Windows and Linux servers, with experience in server security, OU structures, and access control.
- Hands-on experience with NetApp s Active IQ Unified Manager.
- Experience with Hitachi s Remote Ops product and storage solutions.
- In-depth understanding of NetApp s NAS storage and Hitachi s Object storage systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex server and storage issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with both NAS and Object storage configurations and management.
- Relevant certifications in NetApp or Hitachi technologies are a plus.
