Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Counter Sales Representative. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers with their equipment rental or sales experience. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced equipment rental environment and has a passion the compact equipment industry.
Duties:
- Greet customers and assist them in renting the right piece of equipment to get their project done.
-Performing equipment rental reservations, contracts and invoices utilizing rental software
- Provide product information and answer any questions customers may have
- Operate cash registers and handle customer transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized sales counter area
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and monitoring stock levels
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
Skills:
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Previous experience in retail sales, customer service or rental industry is preferred
- Knowledge of equipment rental industry is a plus but not required
- Proficient in operating cash registers and handling cash transactions accurately
