Job Title : Senior Application Architect
Job Description : The Senior Application Architect must possess a minimum of seven (7) years of experience with
at least one (1) of the following:
a) Managing major projects that involve providing professional support services and/or the
integration, implementation and transition of large, complex systems.
b) Providing design and development of e-government solutions, and is responsible for
technical design and implementation of the architecture.
c) Designing, developing, and maintaining infrastructure and backend applications.
d) Providing hands-on expertise on defining the role of broadband and wireless applications.
e) Providing hands-on expertise with web servers, gateways, and application servers and
content management systems.
f) Providing hands-on experience in web application technologies and middleware
solutions.
g) Providing hands-on experience in Active Directory integrating and Single Sign-on
solutions.
h) Researching new technologies and products for their applicability to DPSCS business
processes.
i) Comparing various solutions and determine the most suitable for a variety of operational
requirements.
j) Providing leadership and hands-on coding for a variety of development efforts while
ensuring all efforts are well planned and adhere to standards.
k) Writing technical design documents and Standard Operating Procedures.
l) Conducting peer review and knowledge transfer to enable a broad knowledge base.
