Location: Boston, MA (On-site preferred; North East candidates considered with one week per month on-site after initial ramp-up)

Rate: 100 - 140 Per hour

Overview: We are seeking an experienced SAP Program Director with deep expertise in pharmaceutical industry program management. The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of functional and technical SAP knowledge, with a preference for program management oversight, status reporting, and executive-level communication. This role requires direct interaction with C-level executives and key stakeholders, ensuring the successful delivery of SAP programs within a complex pharmaceutical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage large-scale SAP programs within the pharmaceutical industry, ensuring successful planning, execution, and delivery.
• Provide strategic leadership and direction to program teams, aligning SAP initiatives with business objectives.
• Act as the primary point of contact for C-suite executives, offering clear and concise program updates, risk assessments, and recommendations.
• Oversee functional program management aspects, including business process alignment, system integration, and change management.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure SAP solutions meet business needs while maintaining compliance with industry regulations.
• Develop and maintain program governance, ensuring adherence to scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration across business and IT teams to facilitate seamless SAP implementation and adoption.
• Identify potential risks and mitigation strategies to ensure smooth program execution.
• Manage vendor relationships and third-party service providers as needed.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Extensive experience in SAP program management within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong C-level presence with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at executive and stakeholder levels.
• Deep understanding of SAP functional and technical landscapes, with an emphasis on program-level oversight.
• Proven track record of delivering complex SAP programs within regulated environments.
• Experience with full lifecycle SAP implementations, including planning, execution, and post-go-live support.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel on-site to Boston, MA, with flexibility for candidates based in the North East (minimum one week per month on-site after initial engagement).
