We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Systems and Support Analyst to join our growing IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting our company’s IT infrastructure, providing technical support to employees, performing break-fix and root cause analysis, and supporting the IT Manager. This role requires a proactive individual who can solve problems efficiently and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with a variety of systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Support:
- Triage and resolve help.desk tickets in a timely manner
- Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- System Management:
- Manage, deploy and maintain the company’s cloud infrastructure and apps
- Manage and maintain on-premise servers and applications including physical infrastructure
- Support systems and perform troubleshooting
- Root cause Analysis
- Schedule and perform regular system maintenance, including updates and patches.
- Be available for occasional after-hours maintenance windows
- Virtual Desktop Administration:
- Maintain gold images
- Manage numerous enterprise applications
- Vendors:
- Work with vendors to implement new systems
- Work with vendors to escalate and resolve problems
- Documentation:
- Create and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of system configurations, procedures, and network diagrams.
- Employee On-boarding
- Perform employee on-boarding tasks, accounts setup, configuration and role designation
- Manage and lead IT Onboarding training for new-hires
- Hardware:
- Setup new hardware including windows laptops, iPads, iPhones, USB Docks and Monitors
- Manage Hardware warranty repair and replacement
- Perform operating system and software refreshes
Required Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience (minimum of 2 – 3 years).
- Familiarity with systems including Windows, Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure, Microsoft 365 Administration, VMware and VEEAM
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of ticketing systems, escalation and resolution
- Possesses strong project management skills: scheduling meetings, developing agendas, action items
- Demonstrates a growth mentality in an ever-evolving technology environment
Desired Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator) are a plus.
- Proficient in system administration concepts
- Knowledge of network and server management, Active Directory Domains, SSL Certificates, DHCP, DNS, and Dell iDrac.
- Scripting Experience including Windows Command prompt and Powershell
