Role Overview:
- The US IT Manager is a working manager that oversees the St Louis IT/Web team to ensure seamless and secure system operations. The ideal split would be 80/20, with a primary focus of task driven functions with management responsibility in addition. They will provide technical support, collaborate across departments and drive key projects forward to ensure the organization remains innovative and competitive.
- Work alongside the IT team of helpdesk, system admin, designers, developers and dba.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a small IT/Web department, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff.
- Ensure data security and compliance to global policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and address their IT needs.
- Work with the designers and developers on exceeding our client expectations both new and current clients for their ecommerce engagements.
- Manage IT budgets, including hardware, software, and personnel costs.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of SQL databases and SSRS reporting systems.
- Support SSIS packages as needed from maintenance to implementation.
- Stay up to date with the latest technology trends and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive and secure.
- Provide technical support and guidance to staff and end-users.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT management.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of sever infrastructure.
- Experience with network administration and IT security best practices.
- Strong background in SQL and SSRS, with hands-on experience in database management and report development.
Desired Qualifications:
- Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or similar.
- Security or similar certification.
- Experience with cloud computing and virtualization technologies.
Reports To: CTO
This is a hybrid position that requires commuting to the STL office 3 days per week.
