POSITION SUMMARY :
Bagatelle is an experience. It's a place to feel like you were invited into the home and table of an epicurean bon vivant from the French Riviera. It's a place to celebrate the South of France's festive spirit, generous cuisine and friendly atmosphere. The Server is responsible for the execution of proficient guest interaction, guiding them through ordering, monitoring orders, maintaining dining ambiance and overall cleanliness and presentation of the space.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Deliver timely and courteous service to guests in adherence to company policies and procedures
- Attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all guests and enhance their experience at all times
- Maintains a working knowledge of full food and drink menu while making recommendations
- Uses Bagatelle standards of engagement for all service techniques
- Observe guests' dining experience to confirm satisfaction, responding promptly to any requests
- Provides guest check promptly and returns receipt promptly
- Keeps all service and table areas clean, organized, and stocked
- Willingness to assists busser or fellow servers in clearing and resetting tables when needed
- Provide engaged, friendly and attentive customer service to all guests inclusive of eye contact respectable conversation and smiling
- Comfortable working in kitchen assisting with plating & serving as needed
- Practice highest regards for safety within all areas and with all materials
- Follow and adhere to all standards set forth by the Department of Health (DOH)
- Have knowledge of state and federal liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcohol
- Perform other related activities as assigned by management
- Guarantee neat and quality service
- Close cash register with the manager and calculate tips
