Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Director of Content & Community to lead event programming, speaker curation, and community engagement for Brand Innovators. Based in Austin, TX, this role will focus on identifying top brand marketers, developing compelling content, and ensuring seamless event execution. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, well-connected industry professional with a passion for marketing innovation, storytelling, and community building.
Key Responsibilities
Content Curation & Thought Leadership
- Develop and curate compelling event content that aligns with key industry trends and challenges.
- Identify and secure top-tier brand marketers and thought leaders to speak at events.
- Stay ahead of marketing and innovation trends to create relevant programming that resonates with our community.
Community Building & Speaker Engagement
- Cultivate relationships with senior brand marketers, industry leaders, and key stakeholders.
- Build and maintain a strong network of brand and agency executives to enhance engagement and participation.
- Work closely with sponsors and partners to align content themes with business objectives.
Event Execution & Operations
- Oversee the planning and execution of key Brand Innovators events, ensuring high-quality experiences for attendees.
- Collaborate with internal teams on logistics, marketing, and sponsor activations to maximize impact.
- Provide on-site leadership and problem-solving to deliver seamless event execution.
Qualifications
- 7 years of experience in content development, event programming, marketing, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of the brand marketing landscape, including key trends and industry leaders.
- Proven ability to develop high-level content and secure executive speakers.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
- Experience managing event logistics and working cross-functionally with internal teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
