Interior Designer

BRAND Interior Design (BRANDid) is looking for a full-time Interior Designer with experience in commercial, hospitality, multi-family and high-end residential projects to join our team. The ideal candidate is a creative, self-motivated and meticulous individual who is collaborative, and can contribute to ongoing projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for supporting the process on material sourcing and specification, custom furniture design, visual research, mood board creation, furniture sourcing, graphic and visual presentations, while adhering to fast-paced project timelines.
• Assist and Lead all phases of the interior design process, from programming and concept development to construction administration.
• Develop and present design concepts, including space planning, furniture selection, finishes, lighting, and art.
• Prepare design presentations and documentation, including floor plans, elevations, perspectives, 3D renderings, material boards, and specifications.
• Conduct site visits, client meetings, and design reviews.
• Manage project budgets and timelines effectively.
• Collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, contractors, consultants (e.g., lighting designers, acousticians, AV specialists), and vendors.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• 3-5 years of professional experience in interiors or architecture and a degree from an accredited school.
• Proficiency in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam and Google or Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of architectural phases of design and construction documentation.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
• Passion for design and a strong understanding of design principles.
• Professional portfolio demonstrating a strong design aesthetic and project experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a willingness to adapt to the daily needs of the design team.
• 2D and 3D rendering and hand sketching
