What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Strategy & Partnerships Intern position at Brand New Day?
Are you someone who sees opportunity where others see challenge? Do you get excited by forging strategic partnerships, mapping new markets, and bringing vision to life?
The Growth Index is an early-stage startup using AI to power how we measure and scale flourishing in the workplace. We’re backed by the Harvard human flourishing framework and designed to meet the moment: a growing demand for workplaces that prioritize well-being, purpose, and performance — not just productivity.
We're looking for a Business Strategy & Partnerships Intern to help us grow our reach, refine our strategic model, and identify organizations eager to beta test this transformational tool.
What You'll Do
- Identify and reach out to aligned companies, leaders, and institutions for potential beta partnerships
- Map target industries (tech, consulting, healthcare, startups) and support market segmentation
- Collaborate on investor, grant, and corporate pitch decks
- Contribute to product positioning and partnership materials
- Help craft strategies for social proof and early traction (case studies, pilots, testimonials)
You Might be a Strong Fit If
- You have a strategic mind and an entrepreneurial spirit
- You're passionate about future-of-work trends, well-being, or social impact
- You’re confident in research, writing, and connecting with others
- You love startups and thrive in environments that are fast-moving and full of possibility
- You’re curious, coachable, and comfortable figuring things out as you go
What You'll Gain
- Direct access to the founder and insight into real-world startup building
- Experience working with a mission-driven team shaping a product from the ground up
- A portfolio of real work that makes an impact
- An opportunity to be considered for future paid or equity-based roles as we grow
A Note on Compensation
This is an unpaid internship — we’re a pre-revenue, founder-led startup in the earliest stages of building something meaningful. What we can offer right now is real responsibility, personal mentorship, and the chance to shape a tool that could change how people experience work.
We’re moving quickly and hope to grow — and we’ll be thrilled to consider interns for future paid, equity, or grant-supported roles as we build momentum.
If you’re energized by early-stage building and want to make your mark, we’d love to hear from you.
