What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Research & Insights Intern position at Brand New Day?
Remote | Flexible Hours | Mission-Driven
Do you love asking questions, uncovering patterns, and turning data into meaningful insight? Are you someone who can zoom out to see big-picture trends and zoom in to find the signal in the noise?
The Growth Index is a startup using AI to build something the world truly needs: a smarter way to measure and grow workplace flourishing. We're grounded in the Harvard Human Flourishing Framework and built for industries facing burnout and disconnection. We're designing a future where employee well-being and organizational performance work in harmony — and we’re inviting you to help us research our way there.
We’re looking for a Product Research & Insights Intern to support customer discovery, competitive analysis, and the development of insight-driven features as we shape our MVP.
What You'll Do
- Conduct research on trends in workplace well-being, organizational development, and employee experience
- Help us deeply understand our core audiences (HR leaders, employees, team leads in tech, consulting, healthcare, and startups)
- Support development of surveys and interview protocols
- Analyze feedback from early testers and partner organizations
- Assist in identifying gaps, trends, and insights that inform product features, positioning, and content
You Might Be a Fit If
- You love connecting dots between data and human behavior
- You’re curious, self-directed, and comfortable in ambiguity
- You’re interested in startups, psychology, design thinking, or organizational strategy
- You know your way around user research, surveys, insights, or market analysis (or want to learn)
- You want your work to mean something — and you believe research should serve a real mission
A Note on Compensation
This is an unpaid internship — we’re a pre-revenue, founder-led startup building something from the ground up. We don’t take this lightly: your time and energy matter, and what we offer in return is real experience, a voice in product strategy, and the chance to shape something meaningful. As we grow, we hope to open up paid, equity, and grant-funded roles — and we always look to promote from within.
