Brandeis Online is seeking a dedicated and proactive Admissions Coordinator to join our admissions and enrollment team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about higher education and possess strong communication and organizational skills. As an Admissions Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in recruiting prospective students, managing admissions processes, and representing Brandeis Online at events. Reports to the Associate Director, Admissions & Enrollment, Brandeis Online.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment
- Conduct outreach to prospective students via phone calls and emails to provide information about Brandeis Online's' programs, admissions requirements, and academic offerings.
- Attend virtual and in-person recruitment events, including college fairs, information sessions, and webinars, to promote Brandeis Online and engage with prospective students.
- Collaborate with the admissions team to develop and implement recruitment strategies to meet enrollment goals.
- Provide exceptional customer service to prospective students, offering timely and accurate information throughout the admissions journey.
Operations
- Assist prospective students through the admissions process, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of prospective student interactions and admissions-related activities in the CRM system.
- Serve as a liaison between prospective students and various departments within Brandeis Online, addressing inquiries and facilitating communication.
- Assist with admissions processing tasks, including application review, document collection, and enrollment management.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and competitor offerings to inform recruitment strategies and enhance the admissions process.
- Support the admissions team with additional tasks and projects as assigned.
Education & Work Experience:
- Associate's degree in education, marketing, communications, or related field, Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 1-3 years prior experience in admissions, recruitment, or customer service roles preferred.
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems (Slate experience strongly preferred).
- Self-motivated and proactive approach to work, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends for events and traveling to recruitment activities.
- Passion for higher education and a commitment to promoting access and opportunity for all students.
- Actively participate in team and school meetings, contributing ideas to enhance your role and strengthen the collaborative work environment of the unit.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required.
- Limited evening and weekend work related to event support required, limited travel possible.
