Primary Responsibilities/Requirements:

  • Fax clinical notes and work status forms to employers, case managers and insurance adjusters in timely manner.
  • Update WC Info Sheets daily to ensure complete and accurate contact and insurance information prior to patient’s appointment.
  • Work correspondence from worker’s comp payers
  • Take incoming phone calls from employers, case managers and adjusters pertaining to work status and treatment plans on patients.  Ensures all calls and messages are returned by end of day.
  • Document in EHR when you work any correspondence or take a phone call regarding a work comp patient.
  • Update employer/case manager files with appropriate information for contact.
  • All other duties as assigned or asked to perform.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Outstanding organizational, verbal and writing skills
  • Independent and highly motivated
  • Initiative and self-discipline
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Proven positive, "teamwork" attitude in work history

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to use arms, hands, and fingers skillfully
  • Constant sitting for long periods of time
  • Must be agile and able to work efficiently in space limited areas
  • Consistently work at a productive pace
