Primary Responsibilities/Requirements:
- Fax clinical notes and work status forms to employers, case managers and insurance adjusters in timely manner.
- Update WC Info Sheets daily to ensure complete and accurate contact and insurance information prior to patient’s appointment.
- Work correspondence from worker’s comp payers
- Take incoming phone calls from employers, case managers and adjusters pertaining to work status and treatment plans on patients. Ensures all calls and messages are returned by end of day.
- Document in EHR when you work any correspondence or take a phone call regarding a work comp patient.
- Update employer/case manager files with appropriate information for contact.
- All other duties as assigned or asked to perform.
