A new client Electronic Health Record (EHR) system will be

implemented, to ensure that the Electronic Health Record system

replaces source data for all areas of legacy data. The business

analyst will collaborate with client business owners and EHR

projects team members to ensure a cohesive approach to business analysis, data management, and quality through all

phases of the Electronic Health Record project implementation. Daily Tasks will include but not limited to the following :

1. Work as a liaison among stakeholders in order to elicit, communicate and validate the requirements for changes to current business reporting requirements and policies for the development of new operational reports and analytics.

2. Conduct data analysis of business and user needs and developing business requirements documents in accordance with the requirements and protocol of the ITS EIM Division during multiple project phases to convert the numerous Oracle Portals, Business Areas, and Discoverer Workbooks to the current Oracle analytical reporting platform.

3. Create business documentation (Business Requirement documents, use cases, swim lanes, process documentation) that detail the Business Intelligence reporting requirements and deliverables for reports, dashboards, and ad hoc tools.

4. Work closely with Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence technical team members and various client Business Owners to create Business Requirement documentation and to communicate the business requirements to the technical team for development of logical and physical dimensional data model reporting requirements.

5. Collaborate with data modelers, ETL developers, programmers and the business owners to translate report requirements, provide clarification of business rules, prioritize development, obtain signoff and ensure successful delivery of accurate end user reporting requirements

6. Create and execute test scripts, scenarios, and test plans to validate initial business requirements and report output through the DEV, QA and PROD migrations testing for accuracy and sign off on deliverables.

7. Assist in providing training & end user support for client staff utilizing the Analytics tool.

Requested Qualification

Exp you have 84 Months Experience with business intelligence tools to design reports, or data analysis business solutions for operational reports. 84 Months Experience in quality assurance testing of reports, SQL analytics, Oracle SQL knowledge, managing defects, development of report user acceptance documents including test plans. 60 Months Experience soliciting report requirements, end user documentation development, specifically business reporting requirements documents (BRDs), use cases, report mockups, wire frames, and flow diagrams. 60 Months Experience with all phases of support specifications development including design, testing and maintenance of reports. 60 Months Experience in Business Intelligence tools and a data analytical background. 60 Months Development of end user training materials for use of Analytics, Dashboards, and / or Business Intelligence or application reports. 60 Months Experience developing and implementing system and work-flow processes in an Business Intelligence environment. CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) certification by the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) Bachelor's degree in business intelligence, information science, criminal justice, health science, computer science, mathematics, or public / business administration.
