Business System Analyst
Specializes in analyzing, designing and implementing information systems. Assesses the suitability of information systems in terms of their intended outcomes and liaises with end users, software vendors and programmers in order to achieve these outcomes. Uses analysis and design techniques to solve business problems using information technology. Serves as change agent, who identifies the organizational improvements needed, designs systems to implement those changes and trains and motivates others to use the systems.
SKILLS REQUIRED :
84 months experience working as a Systems Analyst on projects, performing extensive use case writing, process modeling, and business rules development and documentation.
48 months working on the application of process re-engineering methodologies used to define and remodel business processes. Experience should have been as part of a large scale / enterprise wide Business Process Re-engineering project.
48 months experience with the facilitation of working teams tasked with formally gathering and documenting business requirements and business rules for a future state environment.
48 months of experience in Designing and Implementing Information Technology Solutions.
24 months of experience as a Systems Analyst or Subject Matter Expert for a Workers' Compensation related project.
24 months of experience in User Acceptance Testing, writing UAT plans, and scenarios and / or scripts.
24 months of experience with 1 or more of the following software tools :
- Jira
- Confluence
- UXPin
24 months experience in forecasting BA effort for requirements gathering, process modeling and testing efforts.
Experience must include multiple projects assisting project managers in project planning including developing formal project schedules and Level of Effort (LOE) methodology.
