- General office duties such as filing, data input, processing paperwork.
- Assure accurate data entry of client information
- Record and confirm daily census for payouts
- Identify and process accounts that are aging and work closely with Billing for collections
- Communicate with residents and their families regarding their bills (interpersonal, emails, mailing statements, etc.)
- Assist with Medicaid applications and recertification.
- Support the facility with resident trust activity and monitor resident funds for appropriateness and redirection of income to cover NAMI.
- Work with insurance companies to ensure coverage
- Keep proper and accurate records, as well as analyze data and implement solutions
- Prepare reports as directed and maintain a confidential atmosphere.
- Contributes to Facility quality assessment and improvement initiatives.
- Reviews new resident information set up compared to Admission Fact Sheet andcopies of various payer cards (Medicare, Medicaid, Insurance, etc.).
- Reviews accuracy and completeness of Insurance Verification form and resolvesany outstanding or unanswered questions.
- Processes state required admission / discharge paperwork per state requirementsand Facility policy.
- Disburses Incoming Business Office Mail and processes appropriately.Compensation & Benefits

- High school graduate or equivalent
- Knowledge of general office procedures
