What are the responsibilities and job description for the EXPERIENCED Floral Designer position at Brandon's Flowers?
Brandon's Flowers is seeking a highly creative person to join our team of designers. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and creative person to “blossom” in our florist and gift shop. You will be creating arrangements, bachon wraps, sympathy designs, lots of dozen roses, and wedding florals. We provide the most amazing creations for our clients – come join us!
The job may also include processing flowers, assisting in-store clients, and maintaining a happy flower shop. MUST HAVE AT LEAST 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE florist experience or we will reject. A kind personality, providing a signature customer experience, and passion for all things flowers is essential!
Schedule: Our shop is open Monday – Friday from 9-5, Saturdays 9-2. We would need you at least 9 - 4pm for 2-3 days a week and 2 Saturdays a month with more hours leading up to Valentine's Day & Mother's Day which are required by all employees.
Responsibilities:
- Create floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, funerals, and special events
- Assist customers in selecting the right flowers and arrangements for their needs
- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Receive and stock flower inventory
- Provide exceptional customer service and address customer inquiries or concerns
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of orders

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
