INFECTION PREVENTIONIST NURSE – RN

Brandon Woods of Dartmouth is seeking an energetic Infection Preventionist Nurse to uphold our high standards for senior care!
Job Summary:
- Maintaining a system for preventing, identifying, reporting, investigating and controlling infections and communicable diseases for all residents, staff, volunteers, visitors and other individuals providing services under a contractual arrangement based upon the facility assessment.
- During a pandemic event, monitors and manages the surveillance-testing program, including but not limited to baseline testing of residents and staff, ongoing surveillance if one resident and or staff member has a positive result, and monitoring the county and regions for community- based spread of infection specific to state or federal criteria for testing of staff and residents.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited, approved school of nursing. Current registration with the State Board of Nurse Examiners. RN License required.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Must complete our specialized training in infection prevention and control.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00 per hour
