Role Description:
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Sulphur, LA as a Hiring Coordinator for BrandSafway. The Hiring Coordinator will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resources department, including recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new employees. You should have in-depth knowledge of internal recruitment, interviewing, and hiring processes. The coordinator will organize the job requisition/approval process, posting positions and maintaining applications through the BrandSafway applicant tracking system. Other responsibilities may include maintaining employee records, scheduling and conducting interviews, and assisting with HR-related projects.
Responsibilities:
· Implementing innovative recruitment strategies to meet the organization’s goals and objectives.
· Providing administrative support for full-cycle recruitment and onboarding processes, from requisition to new-hire status and identifying job openings.
· Conducting interviews and manage logistics for onboarding by knowing the requirements of each job site.
· Performing a variety of support tasks, which may include scheduling, and coordinating new hire and onboarding processes.
· I-9 / E-Verify Process
· Performing background checks and other relevant checks.
· Data Entry
· Providing user support to applicants. Acquire and maintain a working understanding and knowledge of the applicant tracking system.
· Assisting with various HR-related special projects and reports on an ongoing or ad hoc basis.
· Performing a variety of other tasks as necessary to support the HC team and carry out day-to-day responsibilities
· Adhering to all the HR policies and procedures.
· Staying updated with the latest trends in hiring methods.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred or · 3 years of experience working as a Recruitment Coordinator, HR Manager, or a similar position.
· Possess a thorough understanding of employment law and the guiding principles of the recruitment process.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Experience working in an applicant tracking system
· Experience using Workday
· Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
· Good time management skills.
· Excellent organizational and administrative skills
