Job Description:
BrandSafway is seeking a highly skilled Spray Foam Technician with a minimum of 6 months experience in spraying foam and preparing thermal barriers for protection. The ideal candidate will be proficient in starting up and maintaining spraying equipment, particularly the Graco E30, and be able to troubleshoot any issues related to equipment or material deficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
Apply both Open-Cell and Closed-Cell foam materials effectively.
Perform thermal barrier applications as needed.
Operate and maintain equipment, specifically the Graco E30.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with equipment or material deficiencies.
Accurately measure and monitor Wet Mil and Dry Mil readings using gauges.
Utilize moisture meters to ensure proper application conditions.
Travel up to two weeks at a time, as required by project demands.
Work independently and self-manage project assignments.
Complete all tasks with high attention to detail and quality standards.
Engage in customer interactions and attend required meetings.
Perform additional duties as assigned, including occasional overtime or weekend work.
Qualifications:
Minimum 6 months experience as a Spray Foam Technician/ Insulator
Strong working knowledge of Open-Cell and Closed-Cell foam materials, as well as Thermal Barrier applications.
Proficiency in the use of Wet Mil and Dry Mil gauges, and moisture meters.
Previous experience with the Graco E30 and troubleshooting equipment/material issues.
Ability to operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and man lifts.
Willingness to travel and work in different locations for up to two weeks.
A valid driver’s license is required
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
