Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our vibrant educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, implementing curriculum, and supporting the developmental needs of children aged 3 to 5 years old. This is a full time position.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Utilize behavior management techniques to promote positive interactions among students.
- Conduct regular assessments of children's progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly. We use "Teaching Strategies Gold". If you are familiar with it, that is a big plus!
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss children's development and address any concerns.
- Incorporate physical education activities into the curriculum to promote overall health and wellness.
- Support children with special needs through individualized instruction and early intervention strategies.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of early childhood education trends.
Requirements
- Certification as State of Delaware "Preschool Teacher. (Pay rate increases with additional education!!! Ask us!!!).
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in a private school or similar setting is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of curriculum development and lesson planning specific to early childhood education.

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with children, parents, and staff.
- Ability to create engaging learning experiences that cater to diverse learning styles.
- A genuine passion for teaching young children and fostering their growth in a supportive environment.
