Job Description
Call Center experience is always good but not always required for this particular position. We operate our Call Center quite a bit differently than others. The main difference is we have dedicated Reps for strategic customers so relationships are absolutely critical. Proven customer service or inside sales/account management experience is more relevant to this position. Handling customers like ours are no easy task and require a higher level of experience than someone reading a script and answering phone bill questions (for example). The position will require working with very large customers where titles range from Buyer to Maintenance Manager to President, in handling questions, research and completion of orders. This position also requires proven teamwork experience and we look very closely for diverse personalities that are a good match within our team. Typical workday supporting customers is as follows:
- Inbound Calls ~ 15 per day
- Outbound Calls ~ 10 per day
- Emails ~ 45 per day
- Chats ~ 5 per day
- Quotes ~ 10 per day
- Orders ~ 22 per day
We monitor survey results monthly and Reps are expected to provide the highest level of customer service in the industry.
Minimum of Associate Degree, or in process of completing is acceptable.
Excellent knowledge of Outlook and Excel (If considered for this position, we do ask that tests are performed by the contract house to ensure the candidate can do as they say they can do with regards to typing, Outlook capability and Excel capability).
