Job Summary
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for answering calls, providing product information, and helping the customer by being informative, empathetic, and eager to quickly solve their problem.
Responsibilities
- Answer and manage incoming calls, emails, or chats.
- Assist customer with returns, refunds, and shipping tracking numbers.
- Memorize, recall, and research answers quickly.
- Assess customer’s needs and provide the correct answer, path, or method for a positive customer experience.
- Manage customer accounts in the following areas: data, shipping and releases.
- Send and maintain ASN, customer portals and Accuums.
- Plex maintenance of accounts including Tier 2 customers.
- Follow all customer service procedures and policies.
- Aim for customer resolution and return.
Experience
- Ability to think fast, find answers, and respond quickly to customer issues.
- Maintain a polite, empathetic, and professional voice and manner.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Above average verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Ability to lift/move objects up to 35 lbs.
- Sit for long periods of time.
- EDDL/CMMS.
- Covisint.
- PLEX preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
