Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Development/related field preferred and or 3 years of experience in HR and Payroll
- 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Responsibilities:
- Maintain hourly personnel files, including daily filing of active and terminated employee paperwork
- Assists with staffing functions including screening, interviewing, testing to fill vacant positions
- Process new benefit enrollments with insurance carriers for hourly personnel
- Maintain accurate attendance records for all hourly associates
- Assist with the preparation disciplinary write-ups as necessary, data entry to employee discipline log
- Assist with processing of new hire and termination paperwork
- Assist with hourly personnel transactions such as promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and passwords reset
- Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitudes toward company goals
- Administer human resource functions to ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance
- Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures and programs
- Records changes affecting net wages such as exemptions, insurance coverage, and loan payments for each employee to update master payroll records
- Maintain good employee relations through effective communication and prompt attention to associate concerns
- Provide off shift coverage at least one day per week, and as necessary
- Assist with responses to initial Fact Finding unemployment claims
Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
