FLSA Status: Full Time / Exempt
Location: Brannan Main Office, 2500 E. Brannan Way, Denver CO 80229 Salary Range: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for building and servicing a customer base through sales and service to maximize profits on the sales of construction aggregates. Resolves customer issues relating to materials or trucking to ensure customer satisfaction and deliver high quality products. Projects sales and analyzes trends to manage product inventory.
Core Responsibilities:
• Build strong and lasting business relationships with prospective and existing customers.
• Resolves basic customer product and technical problems.
• Forecast sales and communicate with operations to ensure availability of inventory in retail yard.
• The ability to develop business strategies that lead to a presentation of opportunities and solutions to a prospective customer.
• Maintain Sales Insight: Including customer profiles, pipeline management, assist in monthly sales projections, and submit monthly backlog reporting.
• Identify and gather information to understand competitive landscape.
• Assist in establishing operating budgets.
• Involvement in trade associations, area chambers and state and local meetings.
Qualifications:
• Ability to display a professional and courteous attitude toward co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Aptitude for quickly building rapport and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Strong skills in time management, ability to be self-directed, stay focused, setting priorities and meeting deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong technical skills required, including proficiency with Microsoft Suite and ability to quickly learn and become proficient in all relevant industry specific software programs.
• Valid driver’s license is required, and motor vehicle record must comply with company requirements.
• Must be able to travel locally on a regular basis.
Education and/or Training:
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred with desired emphasis in Business, Sales, Construction Sciences or equivalent industry experience.
• At least 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience (construction background, industry experience, related sales experience).
