Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Have a passion for excellent customer service and an understanding of what it takes to be a positive team player
- Must be sales driven and have a genuine desire to assist all customers with finding the wine that best suits their personal taste.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Have a minimum basic knowledge of wine (temperature, dry, sweet, etc...)
- Ability to keep a clean and stocked work environment
- Clocking in and out by using ADP Timeclock according to your scheduled hours
- Maintain a clean and sanitized station and bar.
- Follow all Health and Safety policies and F&B procedures and standards.
- Use good judgement and discretion when serving alcohol.
Working Conditions and Requirements :
MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE OR OVERMust be available to workdays, evenings, holidays, and weekends - schedules may vary based on business demand.Reliable transportation to / from work is a must.Ability to lift / carry 25 poundsAbility to stand / walk for extended periods of timeOther Considerations :
Maintain a professional appearance (appropriate grooming standards are property specific) and attitude.Hearing is critical to communicating by telephone and answering client inquiries.Vision is critical in order to properly make wine selectionsSpeech is critical to communicating with employees and clients.This job description represents the minimum duties required to perform the position outlined and are aligned with the current business objectives.
