Job Summary
We are actively seeking a customer-centric IT Help Desk Technician to join our team, playing a crucial role in maintaining the seamless functionality of our IT Department. As the primary point of contact for staff, you will respond to IT support tickets, troubleshoot issues and ensure the efficient operation of computer systems. Collaboration with the IT team is key, as you will work together to address complex technical challenges.
Job Duties
- Respond to and solve IT support tickets, inquiries and issues in a timely manner.
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software and hardware.
- Install, configure and troubleshoot computer hardware, software and peripheral devices.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex technical problems.
- Maintain accurate records of IT support requests and resolutions.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of IT policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Help Desk Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and Office Suite.
- Experience with troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
