The Development Director plays a pivotal role in advancing the mission of our organization through strategic fundraising and relationship management. This position is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive fundraising strategies, overseeing grant writing efforts, and fostering relationships with donors, partners, and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nonprofit management and a passion for community engagement.

Duties

• Develop and execute a strategic fundraising plan to meet organizational goals.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with current and prospective donors, ensuring effective communication and engagement.
• Oversee grant writing efforts, including researching funding opportunities and preparing compelling proposals.
• Plan and coordinate events to promote the organization’s mission and enhance donor engagement.
• Manage email marketing campaigns to effectively communicate with stakeholders and promote events.
• Collaborate with the leadership team to align fundraising strategies with organizational objectives.
• Maintain accurate records of donor interactions and contributions using appropriate software tools.
• Serve as a public relations representative for the organization, enhancing its visibility in the community.

Education & Experience : Bachelor’s degree preferred, with 3 years of experience in the field. May substitute additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
