Job Summary : The Cash Applications Specialist Provides support covering all aspects of timely cash posting to A / R and non-A / R, including balancing, contacting payors for missing remittances, researching outstanding cash in transit, correcting payment problems, and working with the Finance Team to allow tracking of cash daily and monthly.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- High School Diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of healthcare related experience in billing and collections, cash posting or a medical billing certificate.
- Knowledge of hospital billing preferred
