Lake Mead Christian Ministries (LMCM) Minister - LM Kids Coordinator
Job Type: Part Time (hourly) 20 hours

Compensation: $15-$19/hour

Job Summary: The LM Kids Coordinator at the Church at Lake Mead assists the LM Kids Director in LM Kids/Club 46.
Essential Job Functions
- Lives as an example of following Christ in all areas of life and held accountable by the church team
- Seeks God in prayer and praying on behalf of the kids in LM kids.
- Manages the LM Kids worship experience (toddlers -3rd grade):
- Loads in one worship song slide per month for the toddler room and the preschool room.
- Emails upcoming song links(s) to the Next Gen Associate by the 15th of each month
- Plans worship songs at least 4-6 weeks before the month the songs begin, including motions being recorded and shared with the K-3 worship team
- Recruit 2 student helpers willing to serve 1x/month for the 11 am K-3 worship team
- Recruits, trains, and leads worship leaders.
- Toddler Curriculum: Creates and/or determines monthly verses, worship songs with motions, and video lessons.
- Club 46 Activities: Assists with coordinating weekly activities to support the lesson content in Club 46.
- The weekly setup for LM Kids Sunday morning gatherings and weekly tear-down
- Completes setup on Friday for LM Kids rooms including door signs, gates, toy placement, free play table items, lesson/props, small group activity needs, etc.
- Prepares, updates, and uploads lesson materials (props, slides, content, etc.)and resource bins.
- Comes up with 1-2 activities from the curriculum to incorporate in ages preschool-3rd grade
- Prepares from start to finish including communication to the classroom lead and helper.
- Keeps all LM Kids supplies and toys organized. Notify the LM Kids Director if any LM Kids supply needs come up, including purchases of prop items, with 3 weeks' notice
- Deep cleaning of LM Kids toys/supplies; schedule one day monthly for a volunteer team to deep clean each room’s toys/supplies
- Special Events: support administrative/planning needs approaching special events, and work the event from setup to tear down
- Events could be added, but so far include: Easter Jam, Family Movie Night, Jingle Jamboree, and Quarterly Family Sunday (5th Sunday of the month)
- Ensures policies and procedures are being followed for LM Kids
- Provides helpful feedback for LM Kids to the Next Gen Associate and Youth Pastor
- Assists the Next Gen Associate as needed, but according to priorities as outlined in areas of ownership in the job description
- Meeting with church staff members or leaders for spiritual development and discipleship
- Weekly meetings on Tuesday mornings with Next Gen Associate to discuss current book study and touch base on the prior week
- Review successes, and adjustments needed and hear from the director what worked/didn’t work for both prep days and Sunday service days regarding the success of LM Kids
- 30, 60, and 90-day check-in with Next Gen Associate to evaluate how the responsibilities and workload are going and make adjustments as necessary
- Attend staff meetings/devotional meetings with the church team
