Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining the bar area to the highest standards.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations.
- Engage with customers, providing recommendations and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders for guests at the bar.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, and other supplies; assist in ordering as needed.
- Adhere to all local laws regarding alcohol service in nightclub or fine dining settings.
Experience
- Previous bartending experience in a restaurant, nightclub, or banquet setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail recipes is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment.
