Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction with their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and ensure timely service.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs for restocking as necessary.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food handling practices.
- Assist in catering events as needed, providing beverage services for special occasions.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in bartending or a related role within the food industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktails, and beverage preparation techniques.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
- Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills for processing transactions accurately.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on hospitality and guest engagement.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Certification in food handling or bartending is a plus but not mandatory.
