Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. Your ability to engage with guests and create a welcoming atmosphere will be key to our establishment's success.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain knowledge of drink menus, specials, and promotions to effectively engage with customers.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations while preparing drinks.
- Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions, and manage tabs accurately.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs for reordering.
- Clean and sanitize bar equipment, glassware, and work areas regularly.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders efficiently, and addressing any concerns or requests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bartender in a nightclub or fine dining setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations.
- Familiarity with retail math principles for managing cash handling accurately.
- Basic math skills for calculating drink recipes and managing tabs.
- Experience with brewing techniques is a plus.
- Excellent sales skills to promote drink specials and upsell menu items.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and team members.
- Must be of legal drinking age as per local regulations.
