Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service and will play a key role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling transactions, assisting customers, and maintaining an organized checkout area.

Duties

• Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently, processing customer transactions.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision while adhering to cash handling procedures.
• Stock shelves and ensure products are displayed neatly and attractively.
• Conduct product demonstrations to promote sales and enhance customer engagement.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the checkout area.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Supervise junior staff as needed, fostering a positive team environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store settings is preferred.
• Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to provide outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply as it enhances customer interactions.
• Experience with product demos is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
