Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware and utensils
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system
- Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service
- Assist in setting up for events, including banquets and catering services when required
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food handling practices
Skills
- Proven experience as a Bartender in nightclub or fine dining settings preferred
- Strong math skills for accurate cash handling and drink measurements
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests effectively
- Knowledge of food service operations and catering best practices
- Familiarity with POS systems for efficient order processing
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
