Duties
- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and decorations.
- Assist with the preparation and presentation of food and beverages in accordance with catering guidelines.
- Collaborate with the catering team to ensure timely service and adherence to event schedules.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas before, during, and after events.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs and requests promptly.
- Support bartending staff as needed during events to ensure smooth beverage service.
- Follow all food handling and safety regulations to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
Skills
- Previous experience in banquet set-up or a related role within the hospitality or food industry is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and catering operations is a plus.
