About the Role :
A top electrical contractor is looking for a BIM Technician to join their Dallas, TX team. This role is open to current BIM professionals as well as experienced electricians or field professionals with a Journeyman License who are looking to transition into BIM.
This is a local position with strong growth potential for individuals looking to expand their skills in construction modeling, coordination, and digital design .
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and modify 2D and 3D construction drawings for various projects.
- Support field teams by creating detailed installation drawings .
- Utilize Revit and other BIM tools to manage project models.
- Identify and communicate clashes and conflicts in project layouts.
- Collaborate with Operations and BIM leads to ensure accurate project execution.
- Maintain project documentation and record drawings .
- Work across various industries , including commercial, healthcare, and industrial .
Qualifications & Skills :
Open to experienced BIM professionals OR field professionals with a Journeyman License .
Basic understanding of construction blueprints, submittals, and equipment layout .
Familiarity with Revit or willingness to train in BIM modeling.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced construction environment .
