The Grounds Crew is essential in ensuring that our facilities are visually appealing, safe, and well-maintained throughout the year.
Duties
- Perform regular mowing and trimming of lawns to maintain a neat appearance.
- Carry out general groundskeeping tasks including weeding, mulching, and planting flowers or shrubs.
- Provide tree care services such as pruning and removal as needed.
- Operate irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of lawns and gardens.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge for the maintenance and repair of landscaping equipment.
- Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe.
- Build and maintain hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all landscaping projects are completed efficiently and to high standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in mowing, groundskeeping, or landscape maintenance is preferred.
- Knowledge of tree care practices is a plus.
- Familiarity with irrigation systems and their operation is beneficial.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment as necessary.
- Experience with snow plowing operations is advantageous during winter months.
