Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Overnight Environmental Services (EVS) Workers to join our team at Baptist.
The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment within our hospital facilities.
This position requires individuals who are Interviewing to bring their Immunization Records "Your Shot Records" at the of Interview. committed to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and safety in accordance with OSHA regulations.
Duties
- Perform custodial tasks including cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting patient rooms, restrooms, and common areas.
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and vacuuming to ensure all surfaces are well-maintained.
- Utilize appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment in compliance with safety standards.
- Follow established protocols for waste disposal and recycling to maintain environmental safety.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure that cleaning schedules align with patient care needs.
- Adhere to infection control policies and procedures to prevent the spread of pathogens.
Experience
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred, particularly within a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations related to environmental services is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently during overnight shifts.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
