Job Title : Safety Manager

Position Overview :
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Manager to oversee and coordinate safety operations for large and complex construction job sites in the Dulles, VA market. This role involves enforcing safety regulations, conducting site inspections, leading safety initiatives, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local occupational safety standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Site Inspections & Compliance :
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
- Identify hazards, document findings, and enforce corrective measures.
- Maintain required site safety documentation, including incident reports and training logs.
- Incident Response & Reporting :
- Lead investigations of accidents and near-miss incidents, providing thorough documentation and analysis.
- Recommend and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Training & Development :
- Develop and deliver safety training programs, including toolbox talks and emergency response drills.
- Update training materials and provide ongoing safety education for employees.
- Leadership & Compliance :
- Direct the activities of less experienced safety personnel.
- Guide management on best practices for safety operations and compliance.
- Stay up-to-date on OSHA standards and industry regulations.
