Bravera Holdings Corp. is hiring for a West Region Maintenance Technician based out of Dickinson, ND. The Maintenance Technician position is primarily responsible for the maintenance of the exterior and interior structures of the Bravera buildings and also responsible for the maintenance of all Bravera vehicles.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a list of various equipment such as HVAC units and vehicles in the designated market. Documentation to include inspection reviews, serial numbers, filters, maintenance records, etc.
- Visually inspect designated equipment for safety issues and test equipment as needed (alarms, sumps, signage, etc.).
- Perform general maintenance and minor repairs, dismantle defective equipment, clean and maintain office equipment, furniture and fixtures (including office chairs, desk/tables, etc.).
- Responsible for coordination of all repairs and maintenance of buildings in designated market (Dickinson Downtown, Dickinson North, Killdeer, New England, Glendive, Stanley, and Watford City)
- Inspect, be observant of, and address details that need attention such as weeds, ballasts, light bulbs, signage, fire extinguishers, painting, repairs, etc.
- Coordinate inside and outside maintenance as needed (HVAC, electricians, plumbers, yard and lawn care, sprinkler systems, elevators, snow removal, etc.).
- Monitor own work and the work of contractors to insure quality, including overseeing vendors and reviewing their billing invoices for accuracy and approval.
- Maintain handicap parking, drive through area and parking lot painting, customer exit safety, etc.
- Coordinate annual review of boilers and fire department inspections and retain necessary documentation.
- Provide employee training, if warranted, for fire safety, fire alarms, fire sprinklers, fire extinguishers, etc.
- Coordinate small scale remodel projects with approved contractors.
- Monitor on-going maintenance of the electrical generator for the IT equipment and server room (Dickinson).
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk and stand. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, wet and /or humid conditions, high places, outside weather conditions, extreme cold or heat. Employee may work in the vicinity of electrical equipment. On occasion the noise levels may be higher then normal. Employee is expected to use and wear appropriate safety gear.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalence
- Three years custodial / maintenance experience or equivalent
