Job Title : Project Accountant

Location : 42 W 39th Street, 10th Floor, New York, NY 10018

Job Type : Full Time Onsite Monday-Friday (8 : 30AM-5 : 15PM)

Job Description : BRAVO is seeking an experienced Project Accountant who will enjoy working in a quick-paced, dynamic environment. This position is part of the Finance & Accounting team and will work closely with project management team members. The candidate we are seeking must be a diligent self-starter, highly organized, an excellent communicator, and detail-oriented. The candidate will be responsible for all facets of project accounting.

Roles & Responsibilities :

Project set up and maintenance in accordance with contractual terms and conditions.

Project budgeting and earnings analysis.

Preparing client invoices in accordance with contractual terms.

Monitoring WIP and unbilled balances for unacceptable aging.

Monitoring AR and unpaid balances for unacceptable aging.

Reviewing and monitoring cost / performance on a weekly / monthly basis and alert Project Manager to potential problem areas.

Reviewing vendor and subconsultant project invoices either time and material or lump sum for accuracy prior to Accounts Payable processing.

Conducting budget project review meetings with Project Managers as needed.

Assisting Project Managers to successfully execute projects financially.

Assisting with general financial reporting, analysis and other corporate accounting functions as needed.

Minimum Requirements :

Six (6) years of full-time experience, with significant exposure to the Construction Management industry.

Experience working with local and state government clients.

Familiarity with BST is preferred, but similar industry software experience will be considered.

Education : Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from an accredited college or university.

Salary

85,000—$100,000 USD
