Project Manager

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of project management principles, and the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and in accordance with quality standards.

Duties

• Lead project planning sessions to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure alignment on project specifications.
• Utilize construction estimating techniques to prepare accurate budgets and forecasts.
• Manage project schedules using tools such as Primavera and Bluebeam for effective tracking.
• Oversee the reading and interpretation of blueprints to ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
• Facilitate communication between team members, clients, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential project delays or budget overruns.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all project activities, including contracts and change orders.

Experience

• Proven experience in project management within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
• Proficiency in construction estimating software and tools such as Civil 3D.
• Familiarity with contract negotiation and compliance processes.
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also demonstrating independent decision-making capabilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
