About the Role
The IT Procurement Manager acts as a trusted advisor to the business/functional stakeholders for managing the Information Technology sourcing and procurement. This role ensures technology software, SaaS, implementation services, and IT services are procured in accordance with company policies in a cost- and time-efficient manner while mitigating risk and delivering long-term value to the company. The Procurement Manager evaluates and negotiates contracts, SaaS, software, and services agreements with vendors, guided by strong market intelligence and business requirements, ensuring stakeholder needs are met.
The Procurement Manager works closely with the Global Category Manager(s) and leads cross-functional teams to support the development and implementation of category strategies for assigned categories. Implementation activities generally include overall project management, procurement aspects of supplier qualification and management, risk mitigation programs, continuous improvement, Kaizen events, and appropriate implementation of the source-to-pay process, inclusive of customer-centric support content and preferred payment methods.
The scope is global, predominantly in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and generally broad in nature over multiple sites/locations or business units, requiring coordinated management with other regions.

Main Responsibilities
- Identify, lead, and oversee complex sourcing IT projects consisting of SaaS, software, hardware, maintenance, and IT services SOWs.
- Address specialized IT stakeholders' requirements, ensuring satisfaction with vendor selection and services provided.
- Plan, drive, and negotiate IT services and SaaS agreements with suppliers, providing optimum terms and conditions, and resolving execution barriers on time.
- Develop and maintain professional business relations with key external and internal stakeholders.
- Resolve escalated issues arising from operations, requiring coordination with other departments.
- Select suppliers, conduct supplier negotiations, and establish and monitor supply agreements.
- Contribute to global category teams in the development, communication, and approval of category sourcing strategies for assigned categories.
- Manage stakeholder relationships for assigned work and activities.
- Investigate supply markets and develop an understanding of general and specific market conditions that impact the assigned categories.
- Research and identify suppliers that reduce cost, improve payment terms/cash position, ensure continuity of supply, and meet BD's quality requirements.
- Lead supplier management activities for assigned suppliers (SRM).
- Measure and review supplier performance and lead or support supplier continuous improvement programs.
- Report project activities and ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures, S2P processes, ethical practices, and adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
- Fluent in English, both oral and written.
- Bachelor's degree or international equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of procurement and IT experience.
- Previous experience in IT (services, application, and maintenance) procurement of services across multi-country business locations is preferred.
- Strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and the ability to assess complex data. Project management skills - implementing new approaches across multiple locations.
