What are the responsibilities and job description for the Desktop Support Technician position at BravoTECH?
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Desktop Technician provides support in the areas of end-user support requests, onboarding, offboarding, asset management, printer management, and networking within the Information Technology department. Is a self-starter who can be the sole point of contact for a remote office, but also participate in a strong IT team environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
End-User Support:
Should have strong experience in Providing Level 2 support.
Should have experience in providing support to multiple business units.
- Quickly and efficiently resolve requests for various issues
- OS/Software/Hardware support (Windows 10, Office 365)
- User and asset management through Active Directory, Azure and Intune
- Desk and Mobile phone support
- Handle licensing and purchase requests as needs arise
- Printer and scanner installations and management
- Assist with physical office moves and end-user setups
- Understand and configure TCP/IP network infrastructure
- Strong troubleshooting skills a must
- Self-starter with a strong drive to be a part of a team
- Strong communication skills
