HRIS Director - Healthcare
The Director, HR Information Systems and Integration is responsible for providing leadership, execution, and oversight of HR technology strategies as well as day-to-day operations of systems and data analytics that balance and meet the expectations and needs of the organization, employees, and leaders. Through partnerships with the Information Technology and other departments, the Director will research, recommend and implement HR technology to optimize utilization, increase process efficiency, develop key metric reporting, and improve the technology experience for all team members.
Essential Job Functions & Accountabilities :
- Responsible for the design, development, and optimization of a total HRIS strategy using current and new technologies for the Human Resources division.
- Directs the HR technology strategic and functional activities by developing project initiative proposals, organizing project teams, developing budgets, and reviewing team performance to achieve project deliverables and milestones.
- Collaborates with the teams across the organization in the development of integrated systems and processes that deliver high impact solutions to the Networks’ managers and employees.
- Develops and manages the daily transactional activity surrounding employee data, position control, and other HR processes.
- Develops and monitors adherence to HR reporting and dashboard standards to regularly report key HR performance metrics and provide support for ongoing HR data needs of division and organization.
- Serves as the technical point-of-contact for HR and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.
- Provides leadership support for HRIS configuration, upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects.
- Provides ongoing leadership for all badge access control activities to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and maintaining appropriate team member physical access for the organization.
- Develops, reviews, negotiates, and manages contractual agreements between HR technology vendors in partnership with the Information Technology department.
- Prepares department operating budgets on an annual basis for staffing, technology implementation, and equipment needs and monitors areas of budgetary responsibility for ongoing compliance.
- Participates in Leadership Development activities; Reinforces the organizations core values and behavioral expectations through modeling, communication, and coaching.
- Promotes team development through staff meetings, education, performance appraisals and identification of mutual goals to enhance continued professional growth.
- Provides leadership in the development of user training materials that maximize their ability to use the varying system capabilities.
- Maintains confidentiality of all Human Resource activities. Provides information on a need to know basis using discretion and judgment regarding confidential matters.
