What are the responsibilities and job description for the HRIS Analyst position at OIL STATES MANAGEMENT, INC.?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and develop timely and accurate ad-hoc reports with Cognos Business Intelligence; provides analysis and interpretation of report data as required.
- Serve as HRIS functional team resource providing broad expertise in the HR and Benefits modules.
- Partner with HR staff in the field to solve problems and support their needs.
- Monitor security of the HRIS application.
- Maintain data integrity by auditing trouble areas, investigating errors, identifying trends, and taking corrective action regarding data integrity issues.
- Participate in special and company-wide projects as appropriate (Benefits Open Enrollment, Talent Management Process, etc.).
- Participate in developing and implementing new systems and upgrades.
- Responsible for developing and presenting training for new HRIS initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5-7 years of experience in HR field.
- 3-4 years of experience Cognos Analytics Business Intelligence reporting.
- Experience with UltiPro (preferred) or a similar HR system.
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Power BI
- Experience with Microsoft Office product. Advanced Excel skills required.
- Detail oriented with demonstrated analytic skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent assignments.
- Exceptionally strong customer service skills.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- The employee is often required to sit for prolonged periods of time and use their hands and fingers to manipulate keys on a keyboard for prolonged periods of time.
- The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend and lift.
- Vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
- The employee is occasionally required to attend meetings out of the office and may include overnight travel. Ability to travel by car or airplane.
- Moderate walking.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
