**Position Overview:**
As a Leasing Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our leasing process. You will be responsible for managing lease applications, coordinating lease signings, and handling various aspects of leasing operations. Your expertise in managing administrative tasks and your excellent communication skills will be key to your success in this role.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Check Applications: Review and process rental applications to ensure they meet our requirements.
- Send Leases/Addendums: Prepare and send lease agreements and addendums to tenants.
- Follow-Up: Track and follow up with tenants to ensure timely signatures and payment of security deposits, as well as conduct, follow up with prospects and leads.
- Answer Leasing Questions: Provide prompt and accurate responses to inquiries regarding current property availability and the application process.
- Market Available Properties: Create and post property listings, including writing compelling marketing descriptions to attract potential tenants.
- Update Marketing Photos: Regularly update property photos to ensure current and accurate representation of available units.
- Must assist the leasing team as needed with in person showings
- Must assist the property management team as needed
- Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience in property management, leasing, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and handle a variety of administrative tasks efficiently.
- Proficient in Google Docs and Google Sheets, and experience with Appfolio property
management software is a plus.
