We are currently looking for an Executive Assistant to support our Wilmington, NC construction division.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Five years of experience supporting C-Level Executives, preferably with a federal government contractor.
  • Degree in business related studies preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point), SharePoint, and Social Media web platforms.
  • Knowledge of Sage and ProCore a benefit but can be learned on the job.
  • Procurement experience helpful.

  • Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with all employees, as well as vendors and customers as needed.
  • Expert level written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Forward looking individual, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions.

Reporting directly to the President, the Executive Assistant interfaces with senior management teams; and oversees special projects. The Executive Assistant must be creative and enjoy working within a small, entrepreneurial environment that is mission-driven and customer oriented. The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to balance multiple priorities. The Executive Assistant will have the ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.

DUTIES:

  • Composes and prepares correspondence that is sometimes confidential.
  • Arranges travel plans, itineraries, and agendas.
  • Plans, coordinates various meetings, events, off-sites and staff meetings.
  • Works closely and effectively with the management team.
  • Completes expense reports.
  • Manages a variety of special projects for the President and management team.
  • Prioritizes conflicting needs; handles matters expeditiously, proactively, and follows through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.
